Goff Creek Lodge is located in the heart of the
beautiful and scenic Shoshone National Forest, just minutes from the East Gate
of Yellowstone National Park. This makes us the perfect headquarters for your
trip to Yellowstone Park and Cody, Wyoming.
At Goff Creek we will do everything to make your stay
enjoyable. Accommodations may be for one night or let us plan your perfect
vacation package, what ever the season.
Accommodations
Our main lodge offers you a comfortable, cozy
atmosphere. The lodge hosts a spacious dining room with a wood burning
fireplace for quaint dining and a bar area. Our snug cabins accommodate
anywhere from one to eight people per unit. All of our knotty pine
cabins contain private amenities. The lodge and cabins are snuggled in
the pine and fir timbers between two massive mountain ranges with that
so loved babbling brook serenity at an elevation of 6,000 feet.
Dining
Enjoy home cooked meals in front of our wood
burning fireplace. Wake up to your choice of hot cakes and waffles,
delicious omelets or any of three breakfast specials. A lunch menu is
included in our package plans. Bag lunches are available on request.
Children,s menu also available. For dinner, choose from our tantalizing
pork chops, chicken entrees, mighty steaks, and sea food! Chuck wagon
cookouts are done weekly.

Trail Rides & Pack Trips
We offer numerous trail rides traversing through the
Shoshone National Forest into a mountain meadow or high atop a mountain ridge
taking in the spectacular views of the surrounding valley. Our wranglers will
see to it that you and your horse are suited to each others riding experience.
We ride from early May through the fall season. Goff Creek Lodge offers one
hour, two hour, half day and all day rides leaving at scheduled times daily. We
can also make arrangements for overnight pack trips guided by a local outfitter
for the utmost wilderness experience.
Wildlife
It is not at all unusual to witness wildlife
moseying through the ranch or in the surrounding Yellowstone Valley.
Local wildlife include elk, mountain sheep and goats, buffalo, bears,
mule deer and a variety of birds including bald and golden eagles. Moose
regularly munch grass outside our cabins and buffalo take naps on our
lawn.

Hunting
Goff Creek presents those of you who enjoy a
great hunt with the most thrilling hunting available. Choose your game
and a highly qualified hunting guide will assist you in making your
dream come true. Since hunting is seasonal, you,ll need to allow plenty
of time to get tags, licenses, etc.
By request, we can send you specific hunting
information.
Our area indulges guests with the greatest fly
fishing in the west. Avid fishermen can fish in high mountain lakes and
streams from tiny brooks to the world renowned Yellowstone Lake, less
than 30 miles away. The North Fork of the Shoshone River is at the base
of the Goff Creek Lodge. Fishing is made more enjoyable for the serious
fisherman by allowing us to make arrangements for you to spend an
overnight fishing trip in the wilderness with an experienced fishing
outfitter.

Cross country ski in Yellowstone National Park minutes
away from the lodge. Down hill ski at the Sleeping Giant Ski Area -- also only
minutes away. Snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park is
proclaimed by our guests as the best in the U.S. Sledding at elevations from
6400 feet to 10,200 feet is absolutely breathtaking across 110 miles of groomed
trails. We offer complete package plans to include ski rentals,
snowmobile rentals and all the gear for you. We prepare boxed lunches for you so
you,re sure not to get hungry in between stops in the park.
